Philip Schlomm received his acting training from Vivian Scheurle and Martin Bartelt, among others. He took voice training and singing lessons with Peter-Georg Bärtsch and Hartmut Singer. Since 2003 he has been working as a freelance actor, dancer and director, also in international productions. He has worked with directors such as Stefan Herrmann, Anja Junski and Karsten Dahlem. From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of the ensemble at the Junges Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf. Philip Schlomm has twice received the award for Outstanding Actor of the Season: the GUSTAF in 2014/15 and the Kurt Nieder Prize in 2018.
He has found a new artistic home at the fringe ensemble since 2021. He has appeared in the productions “Mit May und Nietzsche durchs wilde Kurdistan”, “Deutschland – Ein Wintermärchen”, “Tobold”, “Citizen Map” and “Map to Utopia”.
