You can always, if not outwardly, at least inwardly, be a little active, you can murmur. – Robert Walser, from: Jakob von Gunten

It snows, snows – everything turns white and the corners and edges become round and soft. Robert Walser’s texts stand out like stubborn sculptures from this white, soft, round landscape. And in the midst of it all we discover this Tobold – as a constant stranger, as someone who does not belong. Tobold appears, keeps an observing distance and disappears again.

The ensemble consists of actors from the fringe ensemble and members of the vocal ensemble Cantando Admont. Anda Kryeziu’s composition works with both a cappella singing, spoken word and electronic transformation of voices.
