The storm fascinates with its unbridled power. But fascination is followed by the moment when energy turns into destruction, creating fear and panic – the point of no return. It is this ambivalence – as an individual and as a social experience – that interested the fringe ensemble in this production: five performers and four brass musicians set the air in motion, place themselves in the storm, try to defy it, tell of desire and destruction, power and exhaustion, chaos and fascination, creative as well as natural energy.
