Podcast – Garden of Resistance

With the Garden of Resistance project, we are moving in with our project partner, the Kunstmuseum Bonn. We are creating a space that combines installation, exhibition and performance and will change continuously over 6 weeks, like a garden.

Our inspiration: the writings of landscape architect and philosopher Gilles Clément, who describes the garden as a political place, a place of migration, diversity and utopia. His call: Resist the dictates of efficiency. His advice: Pause. Observe. Understand. Dream. Then create.

Following him, we develop an artistic biotope in which we artistically explore his central motifs – landscape, borders, diversity, time, dreams – in an ongoing process. We invite authors, musicians and a visual artist as guests every week in changing constellations.

Our basic equipment: real and utopian works from literature, philosophy and documentary. The art museum also brings in works curated specifically for the themes of the project.

The Garden of Resistance is permanently open to visitors to the museum. We also invite you to performances on six Sundays.
