An old bitch, a young woman and her mother. In the garden of an Orthodox church, which was a kind of home for them, they spend their last evening together. It is once again about all that has happened, told, hoped for and longed for up to this point. The next morning, only one of them will be able to look into the future.

YEL is a story of departure and farewell, dream and lie, and the desperate attempt to preserve what never existed. It is set in Istanbul – and yet it could have happened somewhere else in the same or a similar way.

The fringe ensemble plays in Bonn at Gut Ostler with you as a live audience:

Corona protection provisions apply as follows:

We would like to and can only admit you to the event

  • Upon presentation of written or digital evidence of a negative Corona test no more than 48 hours old; or
  • if you have been completely vaccinated (the 2nd vaccination must be 14 days ago) or
  • have recovered (proof via a positive PCR test that is at least 28 days old but not older than 6 months).

In addition, we need to record your data (name, address, telephone number, e-mail address).
Please have your identity card ready for this.

Also, don’t forget your mouth and nose protection.

*The plan was to perform the piece open air in both cities – Bonn and Istanbul – at the same time and to create digital connections that the audience could experience. However, due to the current curfew in Istanbul, the performances cannot take place simultaneously.
