In the hotel, the lonely have settled into their community of purpose. Ada, the old diva pays and pays everything and everyone. In return, she asks the gentlemen to her room. Man can be bought and she is not the only one who knows that. Christine, the former mistress of the hotel owner, breaks into this loser society one day: she has a child. She wants the father. And she wants love. Her trump card is an inherited sum of money. For a brief moment, it awakens in the hopeless the idea of a better future. The battle begins and hope dies last. – A bitterly funny swan song to confidence, a last great joint celebration.

Sponsored by the Federal City of Bonn and the City of Münster.
